Saint James Rhum
This rhum from the island of Martinique was created by Reverend Edmund Lefébure 1765. With his passion for alchemy and its sharp business sense did it possible for us many years later to enjoy the fruit of his work: high-class rhum made on freshly squeezed sugarcane. Lefébure
built his empire on shipping his rhum to the British colonies in North America, they soon appreciated this liquid gold from the Caribbean.
This Caribbean beauty is an agricole rhum and is traditionally produced in creol stills and then stored on oak barrels. The high humidity on Martinique, makes the rhum to mature almost twice as fast here as in other places in the world.
The demand for agricole rhum from the bartenders and mixologists are huge and we are proud to have SAINT JAMES on board with his long history of passion and craftsmanship.
